Marketing Executive at Cazana

Before joining Cazana on 9th July 2019, I studied English at the University of Birmingham. Alongside my studies, I applied for various internships and roles in Marketing, as I thought it would be a great way to put the communication and writing skills I learnt from the course into practice.

 In my free time, I enjoy scouring Netflix to watch the latest TV shows and films. Some of my other hobbies include swimming and exercising on the trampoline. Additionally, I love to travel and explore new places, so I am looking forward to a time when it’s safe to fly again.

Why did you decide to join Cazana and what is your current role?

In the summer of 2019, I had recently finished a Marketing internship at Deliveroo and found I enjoyed working in a fun and fast-paced environment. However, I realised that I wanted to apply for a smaller startup where I could make a significant impact. So, I looked on LinkedIn and applied for the role of Marketing Assistant at Cazana.

Since joining the company, I have progressed to the position of Marketing Executive. I am now responsible for creating lead generation campaigns and developing new content across a variety of channels.

Give us a brief overview of what a regular day as a Marketing Executive at Cazana entails.

After settling in at my desk, I start off the working day by checking emails and reviewing my current projects. Then, I join a meeting for the Marketing Team to discuss what we’re working on and have a general catch up.

Following that, my day might include creating social posts which promote our latest eBook, drafting emails about our upcoming webinar, reporting on the success of recent campaigns, proofreading content that is scheduled to be published and completing any additional tasks that land on my plate.

What is the Marketing team like at Cazana?

I would describe the Cazana Marketing team as hardworking, fun and energetic. We work extremely well together and are always ready to support each other with any tasks or issues.

What is a current or future project that you are excited about?

As a Marketing team, we work on a wide range of projects. Currently, I’m excited about organising our next virtual event, Cazana’s Car Market Update for April 2021. Our webinars have a great attendance rate and are a key way in which we provide our customers and followers with valuable insight on the motor retail industry.

What is your favourite thing about working with Cazana?

Friday Town Halls. Every week, the entire Cazana and Car & Classic teams gather together virtually to hear from our CEO, gain insight into other departments, meet new joiners, have a general catchup and finally, to express gratitude to anyone in the team who has gone above and beyond this week. This meeting is anything but boring and you’ll regularly see those who choose to keep their cameras on, laughing and smiling! It’s been a great way to keep our fun and friendly team connected during the pandemic.
